Wind Across a Puddle

wind on a puddle. Gas Works, Seattle

Continuing on this elemental theme I’ve stumbled upon, here we have wind on a puddle in Gas Works Park in Seattle. Not the nicest of mornings today, but the park is definitely worth checking out.

  1. That’s a very cool shot…. and don’t you love how photography forces you to see things you would never normally notice and appreciate things everyone else takes for granted.

    • You’re very welcome, thanks for checking out my pictures.
When my nephew was two, my sister told me something that really stuck with me. She said part of the joy of having a kid, was that they forced you to slow down and appreciate simple things, such as fallen leaves. So if I could in any way have conveyed that, I’m stoked.

    • you called it. I was laying on my belly in the rain for this one. Pitifully I threw out my back doing it. It’s funny, some pictures (this one might not quite fit this category) are incredibly peaceful until you think about the ordeal behind them.

      • Oh no … so sorry about your back. I have been photographing long, but already I find myself in the most precarious positions trying to get some shot. What is it they say, “It’s all fun, until someone gets hurt.” So sorry for that. Picture’s great though.
